What does “Be A Brother” mean?
The word "Be" signifies existence and action, embodying the essence of being a brother in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Being a brother means presence and responsibility, always ready to assist and support each other. We must offer guidance, listen, and encourage, utilizing our resources to foster success.
Accountability is crucial; we must uphold high standards and collaborate to achieve our goals. Humility and valuable input drive our collective progress. Every voice matters, and by holding each other accountable, we strengthen our brotherhood.
Integrity is fundamental. We must uphold high moral principles, be honest, and demonstrate reliability. Supporting each other with patience and flexibility ensures our brotherhood thrives.
Being a brother also means being a servant leader, serving others selflessly and fostering innovation. This leadership style promotes personal and organizational growth through commitment and engagement.
